Itinerary

DAY 1. TRAVEL TO MONGOL SAND DUNES /ELSEN TASARKHAI/
After a brief welcome meeting, travel to Khugnu Khaan Nature Reserve. Upon arrival at the place, we will visit a camel herding nomadic family in Tarny Els, a mini gobi desert and ride a Mongolian two-humped camel.
DAY 2. TO KHARKHORIN & ERDENE-ZUU MONASTERY
Begin our discovery of Kharkhorin town, was once capital of Great Mongolian Empire. After having our lunch, will delve into Mongolian history from local museums and the biggest Buddhist temple complex of Mongolia.
DAY 3/4. DRIVE TO KHORGO-TERKH NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Khorgo Terkh National Park, where we will spend two nights and enjoy horse trekking nearby Great White Lake on the following day. On the way to the lake, we'll hike to the Khorgo Extinct Volcano to see eye-catching view of its surrounding area.
DAY 5. TO TARVAGATAIN MOUNTAIN RANGE & IDER RIVER
Travel to Tarvagatain Mountain Range National Park, an area boasting expansive steppes, forested deep valleys drained by numerous rivers. Staying overnight in a temporary campsite and sitting around the campfire is an authentic wilderness experience.
DAY 6. EREEN LAKE
Continue the tour to Ereen Lake, located in Gobi Altai province in western Mongolia. The lake is beautifully formed, surrounded by Mongolian Sand Dunes and fed by Zavkhan river. The lake offers accessible adventures for travellers and its surrounding sand dunes peak challenge keen climbers and hikers.
DAY 7. TO KHAR LAKE / DURGUN LAKE/
Drive to Khar Lake or Durgun Lake, which spans a transitional zone between the Altai highlands and Gobi Desert. It covers an area of 850272 ha in the Great Lakes Basin in western Mongolia.
DAY 8. TO TSAMBA GARAV NATIONAL PARK
Continue our journey to Tsamba Garav National Park, covers an area of 110,960 ha and dotted with snow-capped Mount Tsamba-Garav 4193m. The surrounding area of the Mountain has a wonderful environment and is a settlement of Kazakh & Uriankhai nomadic herders.
DAY 9/10. DRIVE TO SAGSAI VILLAGE & EAGLE HUNTERS & ULGII TOWN
After having our lunch at Ulgi town, head to Sagsai village in Bayan Ulgi province to visit a Kozakh nomadic family. The family would provide us a great chance to take wonderful photos with eagle hunters and their golden eagle. Folowing afternoon, we will drive back to Ulgi town to stay overnight.
DAY 11. FLY BACK TO ULANBAATAR CITY
After having hearty breakfast, we will head to Ulgii Airport to fly back to Ulaanbaatar city.
