Itinerary

DAY 1. TO GORKHI TERELJ NATIONAL PARK VIA CHINGGIS KHAAN'S STATUE

You'll be welcomed by your guide and driver in your hotel lobby in Ulaanbaatar city. Afterward, head out to Tsonjin Boldog, a historical place where you'll admire Chinggis Khaan's statue. Continue the trip to Gorkhi Terelj national park, one of the most visited parks in Mongolia. Hiking to a meditational temple after a short horse ride will be a core program of the national park.

DAY 2. DOG SLEDDING IN TERELJ NP & TRAVEL TO ERDENET CITY ON THE NIGHT TRAIN

After a hearty breakfast, we'll drive to Terelj river for dog sledding. Thereafter, head back to Ulaanbaatar city to do a small sightseeing tour. Our driver'll transfer us to Ulaanbaatar train station after dinner to take a sleeper train to reach Erdenet city.

DAY 3. TO KHUVSGUL LAKE NATIONAL PARK

Upon our arrival at Erdenet train station, our local driver will welcome us and continue the winter trip to Khuvsgul lake national park via Murun town, a provincial capital town of North Mongolia. Driving on an ice-surfaced frozen lake will be a once in a lifetime experience.

DAY 4. TRIP TO JARGALANT RIVER

After breakfast, set out on a journey to Jargalant river, a never freezing river in Northern part of Mongolia. The Jargalant river in winter transforms into a frozen wonderland with snow-covered mountains in the background and misty icicles hanging from Christmas trees.

DAY 5. TO ULAANBAATAR CITY BY OVERNIGHT TRAIN

Resume our journey by heading back to Erdenet city with a long scenic drive. We'll take the same sleeper train back to the capital of Mongolia.

DAY 6. CITY TOUR & TO SKY RESORT

Pick up from the train station and start our brief city tour. Then, drive to the sky resort for snow tubing. After enjoying the fun-filled tour program for today, you'll be invited for a send off dinner and then transferred to your accommodation.
