A two day trip to explore Gorkhi Terelj National Park which offers you a stunning view of Alpine landscape and beautifully formed granite rock hills surrounded by pine and birch trees. This excursion continues to Chinggis Khaan's giant statue where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic scenery from its observatory deck.

Itinerary

DAY 1. TO GORKHI TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

Head to one of the most popular national parks of Mongolia, Terelj National Park, located in Tuv province. Upon arrival at the park, will visit a turtle rock which is naturally formed granite stone looks like a turtle from its front side and ride a horse through pine forest & green meadows. Afterwards, we'll hike to an Aryapala buddhist meditation temple where you can see an amazing view of Alpine Landscape.

DAY 2. TO CHINGISS KHAAN'S STATUE COMPLEX

Drive out Tsonjin boldog, a historical place related to Chingges Khaan and Great Mongolian Empire. Once you reach the place, you will visit a giant equestrian statue of Chinggis Khan, 40m high and made with 250tons of stainless steel. The statue offers a wonderful scenery of its surroundings from its deck and you have a chance to purchase some souvenirs and visit museums. In the evening, we'll head back to Ulaanbaator city and transferred to accommodation.
