Overview

 A cultural journey to take part in one of the biggest celebrations of Mongolia "Naadam", locally termed "Three Manly Sports". Participating the festival allows you a good opportunity to photograph of fancy dressed locals and jubilant little jockeys in the horse racing field and visit Gorkhi Terlj National Park via Manzushir Monastic remains. Explore the biggest statue of Great Chinggis Khaan and see the whole scenery of Mongolian Capital from Zaisan Hill.

Itinerary

DAY 1. July 11th   PARTICIPATE IN THE NAADAM FESTIVAL
 Welcome to meet with your guide and driver, head to the Mongolian Government House to see a transferring ceremony for the State White Nine Banners in the main stadium with an impressive horse march and enjoy a fantastic colorful opening ceremony for the Naadam festival. Traditional wrestling, Horse racing and Archery make up the core program of the national day festivity.  During the festival you will take an opportunity to take a selfie of Mongolian wrestlers and national marksmen .
DAY 2. July 12th   CONTINUATION OF NAADAM FESTIVAL & HORSE RACING
 Drive to Khui Doloon Khudag, a venue for horse racing, 30 km west of Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian horse racing as featured in Naadam is a cross-country event, with races 15–30 km long. The length of each race is determined by horse age class and you will surprise how Mongolian little jockeys aged from 5 to 13 take part in the long distance horses racing competition without a saddle. In the afternoon, we will head southeast to visit Manzushir Monastery Ruin which was one the biggest Buddhist monastic complexes in Mongolia.
DAY 3. July 13th   TO GORKHI-TERELJ NATIONAL PARK VIA CHINGGIS KHAAN’S STATUE
 Head to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park via Chinggis Khaan’s Equestrian Statue which offers magnificent panoramic views from its observatory deck, exhibition halls and souvenir shops. After visiting the statue we will drive to Terelj NP and ride a horse to a small meditation hermitage and specific granite stone formation which was naturally shaped like a turtle.
DAY 4. July 14th   BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY
 On the way back to Ulaanbaatar city, we will visit the Zaisan Memorial which stands on a hill overlooking Ulaanbaator city and composes of a circular mosaic depicting the armistice between Mongolia, Russia, Germany and Japan.
