Itinerary

DAY 1. FLY TO ULGII & TO ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK
 Today we'll catch a flight from Ulaanbaatar city to Ulgii town. Upon arrival at Ulgii Airport, our team will pick you up and head to the extreme western part of Mongolia to visit Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Once reach Tsagaan gol/ranger station/ in the park, visit Tuvan people, one of Mongolian ethnic groups and in the evening we'll sort out our stuff for 3 day horse trekking to Grand Altai Mount.
DAY 2. TO POTANIN GLACIER / BASE CAMP /
 Start our horse trekking from Tsagaan gol/ranger station/ to the majestic five peaks & Mongolian largest glacier /53.5 square km /. You will experience an unforgettable excursion to the Potanin Glacier. It covers 53.5 sq.km and ice river starts from Altai Tavan Bogd snow peaks. Walking along the river is a great opportunity to view the beautiful wild untouched countryside and serenity.
DAY 3. TREKKING TO MALCHIN PEAK
 Trekking to Malchin peak, the smallest one of majestic 5 peaks. It'll be a hard challenge to climb up to steep and rocky terrain and it requires some experience for going mountaineering. But when reach its peak, you can enjoy stunning views of glaciers beneath and of the Russian territory as the ridge overlaps with the borderline.
DAY 4. BACK TO RANGER STATION
 Leave the 5 peaks after breakfast and continue the horse trekking back to Tsagaan gol/ranger station/. We'll reach the place at any time of the day and relax. 
DAY 5. TO EAGLE HUNTERS
  Head to the east to visit eagle hunters and stay over the night with Mongolian Kazakh family to experience their unique lifestyle and custom. There you have an opportunity to dress up with Kazakh traditional garments and take a selfie with eagle.
DAY 6. TO TSAMBAGARAV NATIONAL PARK
 Continue the tour to Tsambagarav National Park, covers 1,190 square kilometres in a glacial region, which includes Tsambagarav Mount, permanently snow-capped mountain which has an elevation of 4,193m, straddles the border between Khovd and Bayan-Ulgii province.                                                                  
DAY 7. TO KHOID SENKHER CAVE
 Travel to Senkher cave known as Khoid Tsenher which is reasonably attractive because of approximately 15,000 years old history. There are numerous passages to explore with the largest cavern being about 15m high, with the floor measuring around 12m by 18m. It is interesting that both ostriches and mammoths are depicted on the walls, proving that both lived in Mongolia up to approximately 15,000 years ago.
DAY 8. VISIT A NONE-TOURISTY NOMADIC FAMILY
 Due to a long distance from Senkher cave to Burkhan Buudai Nature Reserve, we'll spend the night with a none-touristy nomadic family and it will be a good chance to experience a way of nomadic herding lifestyle.
DAY 9. TO BURKHAN BUUDAI NATURE RESERVE
 Drive to Burkhan Buudai Nature Reserve, situated in Biger village, Gobi Altai province. Once reach the nature reserve we'll set up our tent and do a little hiking to see Ulaan Yabar, a beautifully formed cliff colored with orange and red colours.
DAY 10. TO BUUN TSAGAAN LAKE
 After breakfast, drive to Boon Tsagaan lake which is a large, scenic saltwater lake, situated in Baatsagaan village, Bayankhongor province. The lake is fed by Baidrag river with prolific birdlife, notably relic gulls, whooper swans and geese. Set up our tent on its scenic eastern shore and hoping to view birdlife.   
DAY 11. OROG LAKE
  Head to Orog Lake, a salt water lake, also referred to as Shar Burd Lake which is surrounded by small sand dunes and it is a good place to watch waterfowls. It is nestled in the foothills of Ikh Bogd, a snow capped mountain with an altitude of 3957m in Bogd village.  
DAY 12/13. TO KHONGOR SAND DUNES
  Travel to Khongor sand dunes, the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia that stretches for an extraordinary 120km, 3-20km wide and more than 300m high. Enjoy camel riding and in the evening climb up to the peak of the singing dune to enjoy sunset and an amazing panoramic view of the surrounding oasis. Here we will spend two nights to enjoy an authentic gobi scenery.
DAY 14 TO YOL CANYON / YOLYN AM /
 Drive to Grand Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park and visit Yolyn am, a deep and narrow gorge with steep rock walls situated within The Gobi Three Beauties mount range in southern Mongolia. The valley is named after vulture, which is called Yol in Mongolian. The gorge is also called as ice canyon. The thickness of the ice field reaches over 3 meters deep by the end of winter, and is several kilometers long.                                                                            
DAY 15. TO TSAGAAN SUVARGA / WHITE CANYON /
 Continue our journey to Tsagaan Suvarga/White Canyon/, located in ulziit village, Dundgobi province. It is interesting to see its unique formations, facing east, which looks like a ruin of an ancient city from a distance. Over thousands of years the wind has created this amazing structure. It is an ancient seabed with sedimentary structures created by million years and the different colours of the ground represent different times.
DAY 16. TO BAGA GAZARYN CHULUU / GRANITE ROCK HILLS /
 Head to the northeast to visit “Baga gazaryn chuluu” , a stunning view of granite rock hills, covers a 15km x 10km area, lies at the intersection between Gobi-Desert and Steppe zone. Plenty of small stacked rocks on flat layers of granites are everywhere and there are several sights to see such as a mineral spring for eye sight, old temple remnants surrounded by birch trees and naturally formed small caves. It is an ideal for rock scrambling and hiking.
DAY 17. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR VIA CHINGGIS KHAAN'S STATUE
 Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city via Tsonjin Boldog, a historical place where we'll visit Chinggis Khaan's Equestrian Statue.
