Itinerary

DAY 1. TO KHUGNU KHAN MOUNTAIN VIA MONGOL SAND DUNES
 Head to the west to visit Khugnu Khan Mountain which is home to some endangered species of birds of prey and wolves. It is interesting to see different nature zones were combined together in the same place and forms a small gobi oasis. On the way the Mountain, we will visit Mongol sand dunes, 80km long lovely sand dunes where we'll ride a camel.
DAY 2. TO ORKHON VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Orkhon Valley National Park, which offers scenic views of green meadows, pine forest, clean brooks and waterfall. The area is ideal for fishing, horseback riding, hiking and photography. Once arriving at the site, you’ll see herds of yaks nearby Orkhon river and visit local nomads.
DAY 3. TREKKING TO KHUIS LAKE
 Start our trekking to the picturesque 8 lakes “Naiman Nuur”, located in Uvurkhangai province, in the Khangai Mount plateau, and it has typical landscapes of forested high mountains and plenty of streams. The park occupies an area of 11.500 hectares and taken under the state protection since 1992.
DAY 4. HORSE RIDING TO SHIREET LAKE
 Next day in the eight lakes NP, we’ll ride a horse to the largest and most beautiful lake of the 8 lakes “Shireet Lake” to enjoy panoramic views of the magnificent lake and serene nature scenery.
DAY 5. TREKKING BACK TO ORKHON WATERFALL
 Resume our trekking to Orkhon Waterfall, formed by volcanic eruption dated back approximately 20.000 years ago and its water falls from the height of 24m. The waterfall flows for remarkable 1120 km to the north and flows furthermore into Baikal lake.
DAY 6. HIKING TO TUVKHUN TEMPLE
 Travel to Tuvkhun temple, refers as Nord Utai in Mongolia. Once reach at the foot of ‘Undur shireet’ mountain we’ll hike up to the Mountain, where the temple is located on its top and enjoy a tranquil and beautiful scenery to get inspiration and relaxation while visiting the temple.
DAY 7. TO KHARKHORIN & ERDENE ZUU MONASTERY
 Head to Kharkhorin village, an ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire, one of the most popular tourist destinations. Upon arrival in the village, we'll visit the earliest surviving monastery “Erdene Dzuu”, constructed with stones nearby ruins of the ancient Mongolian capital of Kharakhorum in 1586 by Abtai Sain King. The Monastic complex was also inscribed on the List of World Heritage in 2004 as a part of the Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. Before heading our accommodation, we’ll enjoy some exhibits and artifacts in Kharkhorum museum.
DAY 8. RETURN TO ULAANBAATAR CITY
 Arrive back to Ulaanbaatar city and transferred to accommodation.
