Itinerary

DAY 1. TO UGII LAKE VIA KHARBUKH FORTRESS
 Head to Ugii lake which is famous for its bird life and fishing. On the way to the lake, we'll visit Kharbukh city ruin where Kitan tribes were existed in 917-1120s. Upon arrival at the lake we'll set up our tent and enjoy the scenery of the Ugii Lake. The lake has registered to the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance of being important breeding and stopover point for a wide variety of waterfowl. The lake is suitable for swimming and fishing.
DAY 2. TO KHARKHORIN VIA KHUSHUU TSAIDAM
 On the way to Kharkhorin, we'll visit Khushuu Tsaidam Monument, a memorial complex, dated back to Turkic Empire 8th-6th century. There is a stele with a turkish inscription which was written by a grandson of Kultegin and devoted to the Bilge khan of Turkic Empire in 732. Continue the journey to Kharkhorin, an ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire, one of the most popular tourist destinations. Upon arrival in kharkhorin village, we'll visit the earliest surviving monastery “Erdene Dzuu”, constructed with stones nearby ruins of the ancient Mongolian capital of Kharakhorum in 1586 by Abtai Sain King. The Monastic complex was also inscribed on the List of World Heritage in 2004 as a part of the Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape.
DAY 3/4. TO ORKHON VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
 Today, we’ll set off on a journey to the Orkhon Valley National Park, which provide scenic views of green meadows, pine forest, streams and waterfall. The area is ideal for fishing, horseback riding, hiking and photography. Today, we’ll take an opportunity to visit yak herding nomads and ride a horse nearby Orkhon waterfall which was formed uniquely by volcanic lava streams and tumbles over the vertical drop into a deep canyon. Here we' spend two nights.
DAY 5. TO KHUGNU TARNA NATURE RESERVE
  Head to the east to visit the Khugnu Tarna Nature Reserve, protects some endangered species of birds of prey and wolves. Three different nature zones are combined together in the same place and covers 49600hectars Once reach to the nature reserve we will ride a Mongolian two humped camel nearby Elsentasarkhai Dunes.
DAY 6. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY VIA HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK
 On the way to Ulaanbaatar city, we will visit Hustai National Park, where takhi wild horses were reintroduced from Netherland since 1992. When reaching the destination, have a brief introduction of the takhi horse and biodiversity of the Hustai National Park and continue the driving to the habitat of the last surviving subspecies of wild horse “Takhi” to explore then head to Ulaanbaatar city and transferred to accommodation.
