Itinerary

DAY 1. TO ERDENET CITY BY TRAIN
 Today we will catch a train from Ulaanbaatar city at 8:20pm to Erdenet City and arrive there at 7:00am.
DAY 2. TO MURUN TOWN
 Once we reach to Erdenet city our driver will pick up us and have a breakfast, then head to Murun town where we'll stay over the night in a local hotel and takes a bath and relax.
DAY 3/4. TO KHOVSGUL LAKE ICE FESTIVAL
 Early in the morning we'll drive to Khovsgul lake where the ice festival is going to be taken palace. The festival starts with cultural performances, a parade of dog sleds, horse sleds, and ice-skaters. We will see beautifully carved ice sculptures, many traditional competitions such as; witness winners of 271 km ice bike challenge, ice shooting competition, a contest of the nicest traditionally dressed people, Mongolian winter clothes show, horse sled competition and a contest of ice sculptures. In the evening, we will enjoy a bonfire festival and see the shamanic ceremony.
DAY 5. TO URAN TOGOO NATIONAL NATIONAL PARK
  Head to Uran Togoo - one of the most beautiful volcanic craters of the Uran Togoo National Park, located in Khutag-Undur village of Bulgan province. Upon arrival in Uran togoo NP -You will have an opportunity to climb the Uran Togoo to see the panoramic view of the whole area. Its peak is nearly 1686m above sea level, has a crater, 500-600m in diameter and around 50-60m deep, filled with a small oval lake about 20m in diameter and 1.5 m in deep. Since 1965 the Uran togoo Mountain stands under state protection.
DAY 6. TO AMARBAYASGALANT MONASTERY
 We take the road towards Amarbayasgalant Monastery, situated at the base of Burenkhan mount. Upon arrival,we’ll visit Amarbayasgalant (1726), a monastery studded with 28 temples rich in wood carving and religious art. It was the one of the largest and most important monasteries in Mongolia, included about fifty religious schools and many temples, housed a community of around 6000 monks. Its architecture is a perfect blend of Mongolian, Tibetan and Buddhist shills. Since 1943 the monastery stands under state protection, was restored and revitalized. It was also inscribed on the List of World Heritage in 1996.
DAY 7. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR          
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city and transferred to accommodation.
