Itinerary
DAY 1. WELCOME TO MONGOLIA & MEET WITH OUR TEAM
Upon your arrival at Chinggis Khaan’s International Airport, our travel guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time, a small city tour can be arranged.
DAY 2. TO GORKHI TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
Head to one of the most popular national parks of Mongolia, Terelj National Park, located in Tuv province. Upon arrival at the park, will visit a turtle rock which is naturally formed granite stone and do horse trekking to Aryapala Buddhist meditation temple.
DAY 3. ENJOY TSAGAAN SAR HOLIDAY
The Holiday begins with warm greetings, locally termed as Zolgokh with family members starting with elders. Before the greetings, we will enjoy the sunset from a hilltop nearby the nomadic family because seeing sunset on the first day of the coming year is set traditionally and every Mongolians do that to take their first step of the year for getting lucky. Next, we’ dress up with traditional garments and enjoy some traditional cuisines. Finally, visitors and the family exchange gifts.
DAY 4. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY VIA CHINGGIS KHAN'S STATUE
Drive to Tsonjin boldog, a historical place related to Chinggis Khaan, 13th century of Mongolia. Once you reach the place, you will visit a giant horseback statue of Chinggis Khaan, 40m high and made with 250tons of stainless steel. Head back to Ulaanbaatar city and transferred to accommodation.
