Overview

 The Camel Festival tour offers one of the biggest winter events in Mongolia and over 1000 Bactrain camels are gathered at the festival. The festival allows you not only to enjoy some local competitions, including camel polo, camel race and camel relay competition also to gain an insight about the Bacterian camel herding significance and nomadic lifestyle. Itinerary

DAY 1. TO TSAGAAN SUVARGA/WHITE CANYON/
 Head to Tsagaan Suvarga, located in the Southwest of Dundgovi province. It is a big limestone escarpment facing east, which looks like Mars planet from its top and it provides excellent scenery of the amazing limestone formations created by the wind. The place is an ancient seabed aged over 70 million years and offers naturally formed sedimentary fissures with multiple colors of ochre.
DAY 2. TO BAYANZAG/FLAMING CLIFFS/
Drive to "The Flaming Cliffs or Bayan Zag – saxaul forest lies around 90 km from the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. The place became famous with its first scientifically recognized dinosaur fossilized eggs in the world and different species of dinosaur skeletons was discovered by Roy Andrew Chapman, American explorer in 1923.
DAY 3. ENJOY CAMEL FESTIVAL
 After breakfast, head to Bulgan village to see the camel festival. Once we reach there, we'll enjoy the festival opening ceremony with camel parade, Mongolian traditional anklebone shooting game, camel racing and breaking camel etc.
DAY 4. TO GOBIGURVAN SAIKHAN NP/YOL CANYON/
Head into Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park to visit Yolyn am, a deep and narrow gorge with steep rock walls situated at the southern end of the Altai Mountain Range. The Gorge is named after vulture, which is called Yol in Mongolian as well as known as ice canyon.
DAY 5. TO BAGA GAZARYN CHULUU
Head to the east to reach “Baga gazaryn chuluu” , a magnificent view of granite rock hills, covers a 15km x 10km area, lies at the intersection between Gobi-Desert and Steppe zone. Plenty of small stacked rocks on flat layers of granites are everywhere and there are several sights to see such as a mineral spring for eye sight, old temple remnants surrounded by birch trees and naturally formed small caves. It is an ideal for rock scrambling and hiking.
DAY 6. RETURN TO ULAANBAATAR CITY
Arrive back to Ulaabaatar city and transferred to accommodation.
