Itinerary

DAY 1. FLY TO ULGII TOWN & TO KHOTON LAKE/AKH-SU/

Early in the morning we will head to Chinggis Khaan International Airport to catch a flight to Ulgii town at 6:50am and upon your arrival at Ulgii Airport at 09:20am our guide and driver will pick you up and head to Khurgan & Khoton lake/Akh –Su/ and once we reach there we will sort out our stuff for 5days horse trekking.

DAY 2. HORSE TREK TO BEAR VALLEY

After breakfast, start our horse trekking from Akh-Su Valley to Bear Valley. After 3 hours riding we will stop for lunch at “Green lake”, surrounded by stunning green forest and meadows then after ride again to Bear valley. The Bear valley offers an unspoiled landscape which is abundant with flora and fauna.

DAY 3. CONTINUE THE HORSE TREK TO KHARA-AIRKH VALLEY

After five hours horse trekking we will reach to Khara-airkh valley where we’ll visit Tuvan family, one of the ethnic groups of Mongolia. Today, we'll experience Tuvan culture and custom.

DAY 4. HORSE TREK TO ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK/RANGER STATION/

Continue our ride to Altai Tavan Bogd national park's gate/ranger station/.

DAY 5. HORSE TREK TO ALTAI 5 PEAKS & POTANIN GLACIER

Continue our horse trekking from Tsagaan gol to Mongolia’s largest Potanin Glacier /53.5 square km /. You will experience an unforgettable excursion to largest Potanin Glacier. It covers 53.5 sq.km and ice river starts from Altai TavanBogd Snow peaks. Walking along the river you will have a great opportunity to observe the beautiful wild untouched countryside, fresh air and fresh water.

DAY 6. HIKING TO MALCHIN PEAK

Trekking to Malchin peak

DAY 7. BACK TO THE RANGER STATION

After breakfast, we’ll ride back to the ranger station and visit the Tuvan family and relax.

DAY 8. TO EAGLE HUNTERS

Head to the east to visit eagle hunters and stay over the night with Kazakh Hunters to exchange experience and dress up with Kazakh traditional garments and take a selfie with eagle and enjoy Kasakh traditional meal.

DAY 9. BACK TO ULGII TOWN

After lunch, drive back to Ulgii town and take a hot shower and relax in a local hotel.

DAY 10. FLY BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY

In the morning at 9:40am you will fly back to Ulaanbaatar city and arrive at 14:10min/short city tour is optional/.
