Travel around Mongolia on the 9 day tour, encompassing the most of the Mongolian Nature Reserves. Outdoor caming on the remote steppe wilderness, green hills stretch out as far as the eye can see and panorama with a herd of gazelle and Argali sheep are the core program for the journey, as well as admire the starry night skies.

Itinerary

DAY 1. TO IKH NART NATURE RESERVE

In the morning we will travel to Choir town by train. Once reach to the town our local driver will pick up us and drive approx.50km till our first destination Ikh Narth Nature Reserve.

DAY 2. EXPLORE WILDLIFE IN THE IKH NART

Today, we will hike throu granite hills for seeking wildlife, such as Argali sheep, Siberian ibex and vulture, etc.

DAY 3. TO GUN GALUUT NARTURE RESERVE

Drive out Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, a habitat of Mongolian threatened species, such as Argali sheep, Siberian white crane, the hooded crane, white naped crane, the cinereous vulture, etc.

DAY 4. TO KHAR YAMAAT NATURE RESERVE

Head to Khar Yamaat Mountain, located in Bayan Ovoo village, Khentii province and it was designated as a “Natural Reserve” to conserve Mongolian rare plants and wildlife.

DAY 5. TO TOSON HUSTAI NATURE RESERVE

Drive to Toson Hulstai Nature Reserve, a vast grassland for thousands of kilometers, which is a home to over 50.000 gazelle, gray wolf, marmot, Mongolian lark and quail.

DAY 6. TO ULZIIT HAIRKHAN/ROCKY MOUNTAIN/

Drive to Ulziit Khairkhan, a rocky hills where we will stay over the night.

DAY 7. TO KHURKH STEPPE & BINDER CAIRN

Travel to Khurkh steppe, an wide open space know as a homeland of horses. Once reach the steppe we will visit several historic sights such as Binder Cairn, a worshipped pile of rocks dated back to Chingges Khaan's period, Rashaan Khad, a rock with ancient petroglyphs, rock inscriptions and stamp marks and head to Steppe Eco camp where we will spend the night.

DAY 8. TO BLUE LAKE VIA BALDAN BEREEVEN MONASTERY

Continue the trip to Khuh lake. When driving to the lake, enjoy some sights, such as Ughlugchyn Kherem, a fortress ruin dated back to the 8th century and Baldan Bereeven Monastery.

DAY 9. RETURN ULAANBAATAR CITY VIA CHINGGIS KHAAN'S STATUE

Back to Ulaanbaatar city via Tsonjin Boldog, a historical place where Chinggis Khaan’s statue complex is situated. The 40 meter high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan on the horseback is the largest one of its kind in the world.
