Itinerary
DAY 1. TO KHUGNU KHAN MOUNTAIN & TARNY SAND DUNES
Drive to Khugnu Tarna Nature Reserve where you can see 3 different natural contasts at the same spot: Gobi desert, steppe and alpine mountain. Upon arrival at the nature reserve, we will ride a camel across Tarny els ( Tarna Sand Dune) about an hour, and afterwards, will visit a local nomadic family whose additional yurt we will accomodate for the nignt.
DAY 2. TO KHARKHORIN & ERDENE ZUU MONASTERY
After breakfast, we'll drive to Kharkhorin village where we will visit Erdene Zuu monastery and a couple of museums. The kharkhorum was the first capital of the Mongolia Empire between 1220 - 1380 and was an important stopover point of silkroad.
DAY 3. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY VIA HUSTAI NP
Today we'll visit Hustai National Park on the way back to Ulaanbaatar city to see wild horses in their natural habitat.
