Itinerary

DAY 1. TO KHUKH NUUR/ BLUE LAKE / VIA TSONJIN BOLDOG

Drive to Khukh Nuur, a small lake known as "Black Hearted Blue Lake" surrounded by verdant forested hills. The lake is an important historical site where Temujin (Childhood name of Chinggis) was granted the title of Chinggis Khaan. Along the way to the lake, we'll visit Chinggis Khaan's Statue Complex, a 131 feet tall statue of Chinggis Khaan on horseback.

DAY 2. TO GUN GALUUT NATURE RESERVE

Head to Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, a habitat for some endangered species of wildlife and it has three zones, such as: tourism, restricted, and the core, which provides steppes of the biological community with rough mountains, small lakes, streams and wetland covering an area of over 20,000 ha. Optional horse riding or hiking to Mt.Baits to see Argali sheep, White Naped Cranes and other wild creatures.

DAY 3. TO GORKHI TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, Head to Gorkhi Terelj National Park. Once reach the park we will walk uphill to see a small meditation temple from which you can see a stunning view of rugged mountains.

DAY 4. TO MANZUSHIR / BACK TO ULAANBAATAR

Drive to Manzushir Monastery remain, which is located at the southern foot of Bogd Khaan Mountain, the oldest strictly protected mountain in the world and afterwards, return to Ulaanbaatar city.
