Trip overview

With the historic, cultural, wellness and health mixed trip, you'll have a four day tour package taking you thru Orkhon River Basin, Khugnu Tarna Narure Reserve and other destinations in central Mongolia. The trip provides a couple of museums and to visit a camel herding nomadic family. The trip is ideal for hot spring lovers.

Itinerary

DAY 1.TO ELSEN TASARKHAI /SAND DUNES/

Head to our first destination "Elsen Tsarkhai" which is a long streched sand dunes over 80km in length. Upon arrival, we will ride a camel nearby the dunes and then visit a nomadic family.

DAY 2. TO TSENKHER GEYSER VIA ERDENE ZUU MONASTERY

After breakfast, we'll leave the nomadic family and drive to Kharkhorin town where we'll visit Erdene Zuu monastery to explore its highlights. Next, continue our trip to Tsenkher Geyser, a 86 celsius alkaline spring.

DAY 3. TO UGII LAKE VIA KHUSHUU TSAIDAM / A MEMORIAL COMPLEX/

Travel to Ugii lake, a fresh watered lake which is an important stopover point for rare migratory birds. On the way to the lake we'll visit Khushuu Tsaidam, a memorial complex dedicated to Bilge Khaan of Turkic empire.

DAY 4. BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY

Head back to Ulaanbaatar city and transferred to accommodation / Lunch included /.
